Great food and service. This place stays busy. They have the best chicken noodle soup but it's only available on Wednesdays. Portions are large. Food is fresh. They always have specials and eye appealing baked goods. This place is a must. The parking isn't the best because it's a busy area but once you are inside the wait is worth it. The place is always clean and the staff go out of their way. They take the time to get to know you and remember you at your next visit. This place is family and pet friendly. You can eat inside or outside. We visit at least once or twice a month.

Its so damn good here! I still taste the delicious ness of the pancakes and the everything lol. Just went this morning! People that work there are unbelievably nice and helpful

Generally we enjoy eating here. Staff are very accommodating and attentive. We love the outdoor patio. Restaurant is clean. They have great options for breakfast while we wait for dance class to end. We would like to make a request...We would appreciate an age appropriate option for my daughter that is allergic to eggs but can eat baked goods where egg and gluten are combined (protein chain is different when egg and gluten are combined and heated, encouraged to eat baked goods by her allergy specialist) We asked for 1/2 waffle and bacon. Our 3 yo meal was the most expensive meal on the ticket...same as a 5 egg omelette with all fixings and sides.

Janet's has easily become one of my favorite breakfast spots in Santee. The servers are always friendly and attentive with coffee refills. And there's plenty of seating inside to suit any size group (I'm sure calling in helps with that too but I haven't tried organizing a large group during peak hours). I'd also say the portion sizes are very generous and worth the price. I'm go-to is the breakfast wrap. There are several options for the tortilla (flour, wheat, spinach) and protein options. I like to do bacon and Italian sausage in mine. On another occasion I order the biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately I don't have a picture for it but it was recommended I ordered the half order, and they were right! I love to eat but couldn't finish it. Unfortunately I thought the gravy lacked flavor and it was more so about the size of the plate rather than the flavors. Overall give this place a try if you're looking for a sit-down breakfast spot.

Good ole home cooking. Great breakfast menu. Lots of omelettes to choose from. One of the great breakfast spots of Santee. Place also serves burgers on the menu.

I took my mom to breakfast. We entered, and they greeted us and asked if we wanted inside or outside. We chose to sit inside. It was quite stuffy and kinda warm inside, I immediately regretted sitting inside. We both ordered coffee and a glass of iced water. It seemed to take forever to bring out our coffees. I ordered the spinach omelet. It has spinach, mushrooms, black olives, smoked bacon, and cheese. It was tasty but kind of bland, so I added some salt. I ordered it with a side of white toast and fruit. The toast was nicely buttered, and the fruit was pretty good besides the under-ripe watermelon. It was very filling, so I ended up taking half my food home. My mom got the sausage, eggs , and hashbrowns with a pumpkin muffin. She says her food was good and even wanted a banana muffin to go. The cost for everything was about $45 altogether. Overall, it was a pretty good breakfast.

On Sunday morning my husband and I wandered into Janet's in Santee. We put our name on the list and were seated in the bar area. After quite a while waiting for someone to come by and maybe bring us menus (even though a server walked past us a few times) i glanced around and questioned if there was a waitress working our section out loud. The couple at the next table must have said something to the guy that asked them if they needed more coffee or something and that guy came to our table and asked us what we would like to drink. My husband went and got us menus. Thankfully Valerie came over and helped us out even though it wasn't her section. Had she not come over when she did we most likely would have walked out. I'd like to publicly shine a spotlight on her and say what a great waitress she is!! Give her a raise

This place is tucked away in an unassuming shopping center in Santee. I stopped by for a weekday brunch and found parking right in front. The server was friendly and helpful in explaining some menu options. I went with the French toast and was glad that I did! It was perfectly savory and sweet and a great portion for $11. They also bring out complimentary fruit for kids which I thought was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend the next time you're craving a good brunch with a homey feel! Bonus tip - check out the park next door after your meal.
